A Kazakhstani company, developer of Zañ men tärtıp — an AI assistant on the regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the acts of the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and the rules of the AIX exchange.
Zañ men tärtıp answers questions on the law of Kazakhstan, AIFC law and AIX rules in WhatsApp — citing the specific article. Every norm named in an answer is verified against the literal text of the act rather than recalled from memory. The assistant gives no legal assessment and does not replace a lawyer: it finds the norm and shows where it is written.
The database holds 6,402 documents: 23 codes, 250 laws, 16 constitutional laws, 208 normative resolutions of the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court and the Constitutional Council, 104 presidential decrees and 5,801 subordinate acts, including acts of the National Bank, the financial regulator (ARDFM) and the Financial Monitoring Agency. A separate set holds 71 AIFC documents: AIFC Regulations and Rules, Kazakh acts on the Centre, and AIX rules. The database is updated as new acts and versions are published, from the official sources: the State Register of Regulatory Legal Acts, the AFSA portal and aix.kz.
The product was built by a practising lawyer: the order in which the assistant looks for a norm is one lawyer’s working method written down, not a general setting of a language model. How it is built, and what the assistant deliberately refuses to do, is described in our articles — see How to make an AI assistant reliable.
A question on legislation goes to the assistant — the first five questions are free.
